CORAL IMPEX, winner of International Quality Crown Award

London hosted this year's BID International Quality Crown Convention, where professionals and business leaders from around the world gathered to recognize excellence and success. In particular, the convention celebrated quality in business and operations. Award winners demonstrated commitment to the criteria of the QC100 TQM Model, which helps bolster customer satisfaction and cost efficiency across all areas of operation.

Among this year's winners, Alexandru Badea, Monica Topala and Stefan Nicolescu of S.C. CORAL IMPEX S.R.L., from Romania, received the International Quality Crown Award in the Platinum Category at the BID Quality Convention in London. The organization has made huge strides this year as a leader not only within its sector, but also in Romania, achieving the numer one position as leading company in the complex field of pest control. This growth has allowed the company to open 11 brand offices all over the country. The Award came as an ideal way to celebrate this past year's successes while looking forward to putting quality first in the year to come.

This city proudly boasts the headquarters of 100 of the largest 500 companies in Europe, along with 43 world-class universities, making London the most visited city in the world and the perfect location for BID International Convention for Quality in London. 

Alexandru Badea stood before the gathering of international leaders, sharing the company's achievements to date as well as its future ambitions and goals. Despite the difficult current global economic climate, S.C. CORAL IMPEX S.R.L strives to excel in quality each day, creating a competitive advantage in its industry. For this reason, S.C. CORAL IMPEX S.R.L won the 2016 BID International Quality Crown Award in London. The Award is presented by BID to those companies and organizations from around the world that best adhere to excellence and innovation in their practices, putting quality first at all levels of organization.

Leaders awarded by BID are united by their commitment to quality in their respective sectors. This year, winning organizations include:

-Stadium Management South Africa (Pty) Ltd, from South Africa Managing four flagship stadiums in Johannesburg such as the Orlando, Dobsonville, Randand First National Bank Stadiums, it has hosted many important events, such as the opening and closing ceremony and final match of the FIFA World Cup 2010. Three of the four stadiums are currently being used for the Premier Soccer league.

-Burgan Bank, from Kuwait. This subsidiary of KIPCO (Kuwait Projects Company) was established in 1977. It is the third-largest lender by assets in its country and is composed of five major subsidiaries located in the MENAT region, such as the Gulf Bank Algeria, Bank of Baghdad, Tunis International Bank and Burgan Bank Turkey. Its core values include trust, commitment, excellence and progress.

-Yusen Logistics India Pvt Ltd, from India With presence in over 40 countries, this logistics provider offers total solutions for supply chains and transportation at an international level, including full support for freight Forwarding and Contract Logistics for all the continents, thanks to its more than 500 operation centers. By creating an incredibly complex categorization and operation system, this company has managed to guarantee customized transportation, complying with the particular needs of every different product required by their clients.

-Trans-Service Maritime Agency Ltd, from Russia. Offering top quality services in the shipping market since 2005, this agency, certified by the Russian Register and in compliance with ISO 9001, has vast experience in fleet management and specializes in vessel operations, sale and purchase, as well as repair and modernization of ships.

-Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort, from Denmark. Since the creation of the first golf courses in 1979, this exclusive resort has provided top-notch golf facilities, and now features spa and gastronomy services. Having hosted important golf tournaments, such as the European Tour Tournament in 2014 and 2015, it was recognized as Denmark's Best Golf Hotel in 2015. Its policies of customer service and top level installations earn its continued success.

-United National Dairy Co., from Saudi Arabia. Established in 2003 upon the merger of Al Matrood Dairy Company, a pioneering dairy farm in KSA and Al Reef Dairy Farm, it is among the leaders of the national dairy industry through innovation - due to the obvious challenge of producing milk and other dairy products in one of Earth's most arid regions. With a herd of over 12,000 cows and more than 500 employees, the farm produces quality milk in excess of 130,000 liters daily on average.

The companies honored in London were recognized not only for their entrepreneurial achievements, but also for their dedication to continuous improvement and innovation, key concepts of the QC100 Total Quality Management Model. Seeking to increase customer satisfaction and optimize efficiency, the model promotes an organizational culture of engagement and a proactive approach to improving processes.

All of the winning companies in London have expressed their commitment to the QC100 TQM Model, which serves as an excellent example for other organizations in today's rapidly changing business environment. By making customer satisfaction the highest measure of quality, BID award winners set the benchmark in their respective sectors and contribute to the social and economic development of their countries, paving the way for world-changing initiatives.
